What is New Code?

New Code NLP

It was great to have Elsie and Marc able to attend the session with Dr John Grinder and Carmen Bostic St Clair a few weeks ago, and I’m hoping to post a review from them here shortly.

The training was focused on “New Code”. While there are many forms and styles of NLP training in the world, New Code is the one most closely associated with NLP Co-Founder Dr John Grinder. As highlighted by this article from Michael Carroll (from NLP Academy in the UK), New Code focused more on personal congruence and the connection with your unconscious mind, developing “high performance states” and “content free” work. You can also find more information on New Code with Chris and Jules Collingwood’s Inspiritive in Australia.

We had a session in China NLP in January focused on New Code, but after reading Michael’s article, I thought it was worth mentioning again!

Thanks Elsie for our session on Hypnosis

Elsie Tsui leads a session introducing hypnosisElsie Tsui shared some of her great insights into hypnosis in our session yesterday afternoon. In a freeflowing and experiential session, we discussed concepts of and experiences with our unconscious mind, and enjoyed a short practical induction for the group.

Hypnosis is a different experience for everybody, and we greatly appreciated the 25 or so of you who contributed your thoughts and insights.

Coming up: Emmanuel Mercado on Suggestion and something special from John Lee, both after the National Holiday.

We know of a few trainings coming up towards the end of the year – Jeff Tan’s looking to run another NLP Practitioner and possibly a Master Practitioner, Robert Dilts is coming to China for six-days with a training on Genius, and a few other things are on. If you have something special coming up, do let us know.

Elsie Tsui on Hypnosis

Join us this Saturday afternoon as Coach, hypnotist and NLP Master Practitioner Elsie Tsui shares with us her insights into the world of hypnosis.

Hypnosis and hypnotic language patterns have been a part of NLP’s core since Bandler and Grinder modeled Milton Erickson, most obviously yielding the well-known Milton Model (and its antidote, the Meta Model) but having a far more pervasive impact than this might even imply.

Elsie will share her insights and experiences with a select group, covering topics including:

  • What is hypnosis
  • What is the “unconscious mind”
  • Some application of hypnosis
  • The process of hypnosis
  • A group hypnosis experience where audience members may choose to experience deep trance and wonderful relaxation
  • Some basics of self hypnosis

We are capping attendance numbers to ensure that this session remains intimate, so please register your place early.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
